Action for Screen - Fight Choreography Class

Weekly classes at Buddhapadipa Temple, Wimbledon — one of London's most extraordinary hidden locations.

Train in the grounds of a Thai Buddhist temple. Learn to design, perform and film fight sequences that work on camera — in a setting that's been used as a location by filmmakers for decades.

​

Whether you're an actor expanding your physical range, a filmmaker learning to choreograph action, or someone who simply wants to move with purpose — this class is for you.

Taught by Michael Hoad, actor, director and action specialist with two decades of martial arts experience.

​

First session free. £5 per session after that.

Experience & Background

Michael has trained in martial arts for 27 years, earning double black belts in Hapkido and Kickboxing, competing in Muay Thai and progressing to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at blue belt level.

With over 20 screen credits as an actor, director and action specialist, Michael brings real professional experience to every class. Selected credits include:
